December is “Disability Free” Month

Ok, so it’s not possible to actually be disability free.  If that were possible, obviously disability wouldn’t exist.  However I am determined to have a “disability free” month.

That’s right – December is my month of just chillin’.

I have appointments already booked, sadly, so I will be keeping those (which includes a half-day at a pain clinic which I’ve been waiting over a year to get into to!!!).  However I will not be booking any new appointments until next year.  After next week, the youngest child’s therapy stops for school holidays.  I have two more meetings for committee’s then that is all until next year on that front.

The kids and I are going to have a “fun-filled time with mummy month”.  And while we are at it, we may even whip daddy’s arse into gear to join us every now and then.

So for my friends in town – beware.  We have already organised a cocktail night for this Saturday and I plan on starting my fun month with a bang.

For my friends elsewhere – any screaming you may hear over yonder could well be us 🙂

Bring it on!!!

Autism Aspergers Magazine

Linda was a contributor for Autism Aspergers Network Magazine!

We are raising money to cover the boys medical and disability expenses. ALL funds raised go into their own account, to pay for these expenses. Things such as speech therapy, occuptational therapy, psychology, chaperoned sport and social activities, and special equipment etc. I hate having to do this, but hey, if you don't like it, then give me a job ;-). Please click on the photo to go to their GoFundMe page, and thank you for your time (and I do hope, your generous donation *cheeky grin*)!!!
